Who Are You?
I’m currently a computer science master’s student at a large state school which is located in one of the top ten metropolitan areas in the United States. I received my bachelor’s degree at the same school. I’m also doing a software engineer internship at a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing computer hardware. What is the Purpose of this Blog?
The purpose of this blog is to provide information and advice on how to be successful in the programming technical interview and recruiting process. Over the past three years, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to interview with many technical companies for various programming related jobs. Through my experience in these interviews, I was able to gain invaluable insight into what it takes to be successful. In this blog, I hope to convey my knowledge to you through detailed and informative posts.
What is the Format of this Blog?
The format of this blog will be a chronological recounting of all my interview experiences starting with my first internship interview during my sophomore year and ending with my last full time position interview six months after I graduated. Interspersed between these interview accounts will be posts that offer advice on interview preparation, career fairs, phone screens, resume writing, and much more.
